- For ease of use, the INSTALL script on this disk should be run prior to
- attempting to use PASCAL. This script requires that approximately 600
- blocks be free on the Workbench disk before starting, in order for the
- script to complete correctly.
-
- Since your copy of the workbench disk may not have this much room available,
- we suggest that you first make a backup of your working copy of your
- workbench disk. Now you can start deleting files from this disk in order
- to get the required space needed. We suggest you start deleting files
- in this order.
-
- 1) Delete any demo programs and the demo drawer.
- 2) Delete the notepad, calculator and utilities drawer (directory).
- 3) Delete the fonts and fonts directory
- 4) Delete all the printer specific files (EXCEPT the file you chose thru
- preferences
- 5) Delete seldom used commands from the C: directory (e.g. edit, format,
- etc.)
-
- Once you have freed up at least 600 blocks, you can execute the INSTALL
- script on this disk. It should copy all the pertainent files off this
- disk and onto the disk(s) which are currently assigned to C: L: and S:
-
- Good Luck, and have fun with the Pascal compiler.
